Vastu Sudha is the brain-child of Internationally acclaimed Vastu Expert, Sudha Pai, from Bangalore, India. The Sanskrit word ‘Sudha’ means nectar. Vastu Sudha is a sincere attempt to showcase the nectarine transformations that Vastu brings in one’s life.
Vastu Shastra is the sacred art and science of creating a protective cosmic shield around us by tuning our homes and other buildings to resonate with Nature’s frequencies! The way a guitar is tuned by adjusting the tautness of its strings, Vastu principles of placing a door or a window or an opening or the load of a staircase etc. strategically, based on precise mathematical calculations ensures friction-free flow of energy inside the space which flows in sync with the energy flow outside!
The present population will certainly benefit by learning about these techniques of building and living in homes and how Vastu Shastra is a science that facilitates event manifestation! Its principle work on the ancient principle of Dik-kaal (which is very similar to the Space-Time continuum of modern Physics. Maharishi Kanaad conceptualized this principle thousands of years ago, Modern Science is a few hundred years old). “Improving one leads to improvement in the other”! Bringing about positive changes in the vibrational quality of directions (with reference to one’s home) leads to positive changes in the quality of time one goes through in life!
Why Vastu Sudha?
Much of the knowledge on Vastu Shastra has been lost due to the innumerable invasions that India faced in the past. There is a saying that the invaders put fire to the library at Nalanda University and the fire burnt for several months! Although many of the precious scriptures on Vastu Shastra were lost, what remains is fortunately sufficient to carry forward the legacy! Because of the antiquity and the cryptic nature of the language in which the secrets of laws of nature were encoded, corrent interpretation becomes paramount. This is the reason behind multiple versions of Vastu Shastra being prevalent in current practice, leading to ambiguity and confusion. Each Vastu Expert may have different approach to the same vastu situation! This has mystified the science.
A small percentage of human population, in the present world is familiar with Vastu Shastra and that too very vaguely. Not many know that Vastu shastra is the timeless wisdom which has has existed for at least ten thousand years! The raise in the modern maladies of pain and sufferings are directly linked to living in homes with a unhealthy pattern of energy flows. We at Vastu Sudha, are passionate about popularizing Vastu Shastra among people and share with them how we can lead vastly improved lives with better health and well-being, with Vastu. The techniques are easy to learn and apply.
We aim to do this by providing authentic vedic knowledge to people which removes doubts in their minds about how Vastu works. Individual home owners who are interested in getting their homes and other buildings analysed and also rectified are welcome to consult us. We also provide design support for people who are building their new homes or those who are purchasing built spaces be it an apartment, a house, a villa or a plot, residential or commercial, factory or school etc. It is always a good idea to avail an expert’s services before any purchase is made or before a home is built.
We conduct regular online and offline courses to share this precious knowledge among interested students. We also mentor the really motivated budding consultants and guide them on their path to setting up their consultancy or teaching career in Vastu Shastra. Many people experience sudden change in their way of life, health or even luck-factor after occupying a new place of dwelling. This is the result of the fragmented energy body of the Vastu purusha. Remedial Vastu techniques offer great hope to majority of the human population across the globe who are using spaces designed without vastu inputs. After analysis for vastu compliance, a good vastu expert can arrive at an appropriate remedial plan which is easily doable and does not involve structural alterations most of the time. I am based in Bangalore, India since 1984. Before Vastu, I had worked for a Nationalized Bank for 17 years and had resigned from the same in 1998 to focus on raising our new born.
My younger days as a student was very beautiful as I had several interests like bird-watching, trekking, Flying (Glider), playing Veena, besides excelling in academics. I was always outdoors observing Nature and I never had a boring day in my life!
My tryst with designing homes started at a very young age. We used to spend our summer holidays with our grandparents in a small village. I used to borrow my grandfather’s Valmiki Ramayana (an Epic on the story of Bhagawan Rama) and read. I remember reading and re-reading the chapter on Sundarakaanda which had the description of the royal city of Lanka. The grandeur of Lanka which was a city originally built by Vishwakarma but occupied later by King Ravan motivated me so much that I started to spend time on drawing layout of houses. I was barely ten years old then. It gives me goosebumps to think that I later learnt about who Vishwakarma was with reference to Vastu Shastra, several decades later.
In 2008, we were looking for a good Vastu consultant to design our new home, when I saw a two-line advertisement in the local newspaper that World-renowned Vastu Expert Dr. Narendra Hari Sahasrabuddhe (alumnus of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India; Structural Engineer by profession, “Vastu Vidya Vachaspati”, author of over 20 books on Vastu Shastra) was teaching Vastu Shastra at the Veda Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth (VVMVP), The Art of Living, Bangalore. Instead of hiring someone to design the house, I though I will enroll and learn Vastu. I enrolled and attended the Basic Course. During the course, I got the glimpse of the vast scope the subject offered! The possibility of an ordinary person like me bringing about extra-ordinary changes in the lives of many struck me hard! It was a logical progression to continue further studies in Vastu Shastra.
The Study included Astro-Vastu, Remedial Vastu (for both residences and public places like offices, factories, hospitals, schools, petrol bunks, malls, shops, Corporate complexes, laboratories, apartment buildings etc.), Esoteric Vastu based on Lakshanas (visible signs) around the property which help in detecting hidden vastu dosh/faults, Global Vastu Applications and Geopathic Effects. During the same period I also learnt Vedic Astrology from Guru Sri Sreenivasa Sharma, Bangalore as astrological insights give an edge in our remedial work.
In-depth scriptural study in Vastu Shastra is one of my strengths and also a multi-dimensional holistic approach involving inputs from Mantra Shastra, Mudras, Yoga Shastra and Astrology. I focus on providing the clients simple, very effective and easily doable remedies. The feedback has always been very positive and I have witnessed miraculous improvements in people’s lives! My clients appreciate my accurate analysis of Vastu situations and my holistic method of planning remedies which include inputs from Astrology, Yoga, Esoteric and Remedial vastu.
My clientele ranges from a roadside vendor to a multinational Corporate Giants including Public Sector Undertakings. My work has taken me from a little village in Tamil Nadu to the foot hills of the Himalayas and also to far-away Caribbean country! I have clients from all over India, Argentina, Canada, Fiji Islands, Nepal, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Suriname, Singapore, U.K., and U.S.A.
From the day I started consulting 13 years ago, I have done remedial corrections in over 2000 properties of all types and sizes (including 3 temples, 3 international schools and a 30+ acre township), with excellent results! Structural alterations are rarely needed and hence people residing in apartments or rented spaces find working with me very fruitful!
It is my mission to demystify the Science and popularize Vastu Shastra globally. It is also a passion to show the scientific nature of Vastu Shastra and its universal applicability. I am open to working with People and institutions in this direction. It gives me great hope for Vastu Shastra as more and more younger people are investing time and energy to learn about the ancient science.
It is my passion to share what I have learnt and practiced for 13 years with people. I do conduct courses and workshops on Vedic Vastu Shastra and Astro-Vastu regularly, both online and offline. My students love my methods of teaching so much that those who start from Basic Level 1 go on to Advanced Levels back to back! I am available for Seminars/ Workshops / Awareness Programs on any aspect of Vastu Shastra, especially among the students of Architecture, Builder fraternity and other Organizations. I focus on educating people about the benefits of living in Vastu homes. This website is just an extension of our efforts to reach out to people who need this precious knowledge globally.
It is my dream to work towards popularizing Vastu Shastra globally that “World Vastu Day” becomes a reality! I also know that realising this individually is not easy. Hence, this website is my sincere attempt to reach out to many, in least time. May the Divine Grace guide me in that direction!
